Ohhh sooo pretty!

Won't be able to do a bath in the sink for much longer:(

Bad girl! She loves to crinkle the cans.

We had such a fun camping trip! We arrived Thursday evening, set up camp and settled in for some fun! There was hiking, biking, 4-wheelering and relaxing galore. Marcus, Stacy & Cooper arrived Friday as well as Kelly, Michelle & Hayden. The kids enjoyed the great outdoors and were super troopers. Poor Cooper didn't feel well on Sunday though. Here are some pictures from our weekend. I had a hard time picking them- as always there were too many to choose from. Hope everyone had a safe and memorable weekend. We didn't get home until 8:30 last night. Oh and our dryer is still out of commission. I am picking up the "part" later today. Hopefully that works. If not, I'm going shopping!!!

Lots of love!

Dead Dryer...

For the last year or so I have whined and whined about our washer and dryer. They were cheap. It was all we could afford when we were building our house. Anyway, I want the fancy front loaders since I spend a good portion of my life doing laundry. Well, earlier this week I noticed the dryer continuously running- didn't think much of it as I wasn't really sure how long it had been running- since I have no real concept of time anymore. The next day after I had noticed it running and running, the heat stopped. Okay, now we have a problem! Needless to say, after a good hours worth of Tyler throwing tools and parts(not really throwing, but pretty close!), we "THINK" we know what the problem is, have a part ordered (which was broken when we got the first one- it's a sign!) And, of course the stupid part didn't show up today. It will be here tomorrow as we are camping our little lives away. So after 5 days of camping, plus all the laundry at home, I get to come home to this...

A dual purpose table/laundry rack.

My new dryer...At least it is cheap! And we don't mind crisp clothes! :)

Have a great weekend, be safe, don't drink & drive and wear your seat belt! Later.

Just like Daddy...

What the heck happened in here? Oh wait, I now have a Toddler on my hands. :)

The big FIT after I took the cookie away...The picture taken before this one showed her flat out on the floor screaming- you couldn't see her face, so I posted this picture instead.

This morning as I was running around the kitchen with my head cut off, I realized that McKinley was playing in the "snack" cupboard- she always does, so I didn't think anything of it...UNTIL, I really paid attention! Jackpot!...We have ourselves one smart little cookie. Ha! Get it- smart cookie!! :)

Wild West...

Amanda, Miles, Tyler & I
Uncle Miles & McKinley
Cooper and his TWO teeth:)
Yeee-Haw! Giddy Up, Buttercup!

We had a great weekend! Saturday we went to Granny & Grandpa for lunch. They had a wonderful feast for their branding crew. After lunch we came home and played in the pool. Nana and Uncle Tyler came over to visit. When McKinley got up from her nap we hauled the camp trailer to Marcus & Stacy's. McKinley and Cooper played and played. They even took a bath together since they were so dirty. McKinley didn't love it, but Cooper had a blast in the tub. After we put the kids to bed we sat around the fire. I watched Cooper Sunday morning so Stacy could ride- we had a great time. He is such a good little boy. The little ones had lots of fun playing and hamming it up for everyone. We called it a weekend by going out to dinner as a family. It was wonderful.

Playin' in the POOL...

The boys came over today. They (and I) had so much fun playing outside. We were only inside for lunch and naps. The weather was amazing! Thank goodness for sunscreen and sun hats. McKinley played so hard- hard enough to warrant going to bed at 7:15. She was tired. Mel and the boys also stayed for dinner. It was nice to spend time together. All three kids took a MUCH needed bath after dinner. They had to wash off all the dirt, food and sunscreen:)

Our family's branding is this weekend. Glad it will be nice- although it may be a little too warm for everyone working the cattle. I'm sure there will be lots of refreshments:) Pop a top!

Later.

Hmmm, he looks familiar...

Such a sweet little boy.
He's practicing for his future girlfriend:) ha!
"I love you, Auntie!"

Stacy & Cooper came over yesterday. Stacy & I took the kids to a plant sale at one of the local schools. It was great! The two little ones were super. Cooper stayed at our house for the rest of the afternoon. Both kids took their naps, when they woke up, we all went for a walk to Granny's. McKinley loved having him over and Coop seemed to enjoy some new toys and didn't mind his Brutus cousin mangling him:)

Dirt...

Me and my loader are goin' nigh-night!

We had a great weekend! Saturday I hit a few yard sales- didn't find much, but got out for a while:) The weather was perfect! When I got home, McKinley was taking her nap, so I worked outside for almost 2 1/2 hours until she finally woke up! Then we decided to go up in the hills for a drive & lunch. We found a nice spot, had a fire, roasted wieners, drank a few brewskies, took a walk and enjoyed the wildflowers. It was the perfect day. Today was spent doing "motherly" things like vacuuming, mopping, laundry, etc. One major bonus for my first Mother's Day was that McKinley slept in until 7:30- Perfect! :)

Cheers~

OREO city...

Soooo...last night Tyler and I were in the kitchen talking about the week/weekend. He was acting strange- didn't think anything of it, UNTIL- I looked over at McKinley. She had been GIVEN an Oreo and LOVED it, as you can tell! Oh my!

McKinley and I went to Nana's on Wednesday. We had a great time hanging out and veggin'. We even did a little (seriously, a little) shopping:) A miracle for me.

Not much planned for the weekend. Hopefully it will be nice for Mother's Day.

Happy Mom's Day to all your Mommy's out there! :)
