Winter Wonderland!...

We hosted my cousin Michelle's wedding reception last weekend. When we woke up Saturday morning, we had gross icy snow patches in the yard. You could see the mole hills Mr. Mole has nicely dug ALL over the place. There were huge ice patches in the driveway. You get the picture. Well, I said a little prayer for snow. And I sure got what I asked for!!! The snow made for a very fun party and the kids had a blast building forts and snowmen.

I made Pioneer Woman's cinnamon rolls for breakfast on Sunday. 1 pound of butter, check...one bag of powdered sugar, check...9 cups of flour, check...oh my!

Sisters...

These two have taken over my world! They are both spunky brown eyed beauties who have not only taken over our house, but have run away with their mommy & daddy's hearts!

We love you both, little M's!

On a side note- our cowgirl McKinley fell off one of the mules last week. Luckily, she walked away with a fat lip and a few raspberries. She still wants to ride every 3 seconds (no kidding!) and seems to have a bit more respect for the massive playmates.

She's GROWING...

Morgan had her TWO month check up yesterday. She weighs 11 lbs, 15.5oz and is now 23 inches long! She grew two inches since birth! She must have my genes in that department:)

She is 75% across the board.

She's such a sweet little thing!

Getting bigger!...

Our sweet little Morgan Lee is getting bigger. She is now 7 weeks old and is doing great. She's blessed me with sleeping through the night. We all know that I am a 8-9 hours kind of gal. And, it's not pretty when this momma doesn't get good sleep.

She has a doctor appointment at the end of the month. Stay tuned for the weigh in and stats.

Frame Me...

Last night McKinley was given a hammer. Not a rubber one, not a plastic one...a real one! And...she built this with it!

Love this sweet girl who wears a princess dress in daddy's shop, who prances around in the one pair of heals I own and who is all girl except when it comes to anything mechanical...in the shop, then it's time to get dirty:) Who knew oxy clean would be my best friend?

As you can tell, the pumpkin patch was AWESOME! McKinley LOVED it:)

Toes...

Random Thoughts...

1. Not a good idea to leave your baby un-diapered, even for a brief second while you go to the next room to get a new one. Unless you like cleaning up grey poop-on mustard off the bouncy chair. Babies require a lot of time:)
2. Sometimes 3 year olds are more work than a newborn!
3. Lasagna is much better the second day.
4. Pumpkin Spice Lattes are a gift from God.
5. My hair dryer has a thick layer of dust on it from not being used. No time for blow drying my hair...see #1.
6. Tomorrow is already October.
7. Seems like it was just August...see #1 again.
8. On-line bill pay is another gift from God.
9. Always shred your meat when it's still warm. I made a pork roast yesterday, we ate some of it for dinner. Pulled pork is on the menu for dinner tonight, but it's a pain in the you-know-what to shred when the meat is cold.
10. My new favorite cookbook is the Pioneer Woman Cooks. http://thepioneerwoman.com/ Not only is the author hilarious, I'm pretty sure we would be best friends if she knew me and at least lived in the same state. She uses words like hanky panky and calls her husband Marlboro Man.
11. My pedi from August has now seen better days. The 1/4" grow out needs some attention. But who has time to paint their toe nails anyway?!? Again, see #1.

Tamping with Tooper...

I crack up at McKinley's pronunciation of the letter "C". "Tooper" and "Kinley" had a great time camping. Kyler was a trooper too! :)

We went camping last weekend with Marcus, Stacy, Cooper & Kyler. It was a relaxing trip:) Nana stayed at our house with baby Morgan. It was a fun little get-a-way.
