Jeepin' to the cabins...

McKinley driving home.

Enjoying oreos. Imagine that!?!

Blizzard!

We plowed through the drifts, literally!

McKinley and Claire on and in the igloo.

Claire hardly fit, Unky had to shove her inside:)

The girls. Miranda, Rachel, Claire, McKinley and I.

Unky, McKinley and Claire throwing snow balls.

McKinley playing in the snow.

We went jeeping yesterday. We went to Tyler's family cabin first, built a fire, played in the snow & had lunch. After we had enough of that side of the canyon, we went to my family's cabin. We had a great time jeeping in the snow. McKinley loved going fast- duh. I on the other hand, rode with Garrett. He's a great driver, but I still gasped and screamed quite a bit. I think poor Garrett is going to loose hearing in his right ear:) Oh well, I had fun. We hope to go to our cabin for New Year's. Good thing we made a trail yesterday- we'll be glad on Wednesday when we drive up there again.

These are McKinley's new irrigation boots from Auntie & Uncle Sparky. They are perfect! :)

Christmas Pics...

Giddy-up Coops. Hold on tight! Yeeeee Haw!
McKinley's kitchen. She loved it!

Opening the kitchen.

Playing the piano with Coops.

Lunch on her new table. Don't worry, the beers were Daddy's & Grandpa's.

Burrr...

McKinley was throwing snow at Lucy. Lucy loves pouncing around like a little bunny.
I found her snow pants at a yard sale this summer. I thought they'd be way too big...I was wrong:( She's growing too quickly!

No yellow snow. Pfew.

Party!...

This picture is hilarious. I was trying to figure out the timer on the camera. Nothing like a candid shot.

We hosted our "C" family Christmas party yesterday. It was so wonderful being with our family for a few hours. We need to get together more often, we have so much fun. Tyler deep fried a turkey and everyone else brought side dishes and yummy snacks. We were really bummed that cousins Michelle, Kirt, Jaime, Kamyar & Rumi were stuck on "the other side" since the pass was closed. We really missed you guys!!! McKinley wanted to play with Rumi! :)

Fun Times...

Peek-a-boo. McKinley is playing in her new house. Our hot water heater broke (lovely!) At least one good thing came from the pain in the toosh...a free box:)
Decorating the Christmas tree. Notice the CLUMP of lights. Oh, so pretty.

Attack doggie.

Coops came over last week for some play time. The kids had fun stealing toys back and forth. McKinley insisted on wearing her swimsuit...whatever.

Ho, Ho, Ho...

We took a short little trip to the cabin yesterday. It was freezing outside, but the fire kept us warm:)
" Get me out of this stupid sled, I look like a nerd!"

McKinley isn't too sure of the snow. She did like sledding- imagine that, something to do with speed...Just like her daddy.

Socks...

Cookies and milk last week. What more could a girl want?

McKinley has started this new dressing phase. She puts her pants on (mostly backwards:) ) and loves to put our socks on. They are tall enough to be some serious leg warmers- which is hilarious.

We are keeping our fingers and toes crossed that we get some snow this weekend. It just isn't winter without snow!
Ciao.

18 MONTHS...

WOW! McKinley is already 18 months old- for those of you folks that aren't parents yet...that's 1 1/2 years old:) It's funny how us Moms count in months/weeks when the kids are so little:)

Sorry for the week-o-no-posts...We've been busy!!! I spent the weekend with my girl friends downtown Seattle. We had a WONDERFUL time shopping, eating and drinking wine.

McKinley had a Dr. appointment yesterday. She weighs 21 pounds and is 31" long. 10% for weight and 25% for height. She is a little girl. Doc said she is perfect- duh!

I'll post some pictures soon. Our computer's sound is broken so it freaks out when I try to do anything on our website. Stay tuned...

Bebe...

Lucy has officially been "McKinley-ed." Poor little puppy doesn't have any freedom outside of sleeping in her doggy house. She is settling in well and Tyler is getting used to "his girls" completely out-numbering him.
Hope you have recovered from overeating at Thanksgiving. Have a great week.\
PS. Notice the poinsetta. That is the only thing CHRISTMAS I have out. Tyler better watch out. My boxes o' decorations are coming out here shortly. Everything will be at least 4 feet off the floor for two reasons...1. Puppy 2. McKinley :)
