McKinley got a "Born to be Wild" flask for her birthday. She LOVED drinking water/juice from it. I think she knew she was living on the edge:)

We had a great camping trip this weekend. It was McKinley's first time sleeping in a tent- she loved it! We feel so blessed to be surrounded by such great friends & family!

We also had a bit of craziness. We came across a group of dirt bikers/4-wheelers (none of which had any protective gear, few had helmets, etc.) A young girl had nearly broken her foot/ankle as it fell off the peg of a 4-wheeler and her foot/leg got ran over-she had big gashes down to her bone. Luckily we had a well stocked first aid kit. We ended up taking her and her boyfriend (who was ejected over his 4 wheeler with no helmet/gear) down to where the ambulance was waiting. It was a good reminder to always be prepared and ALWAYS wear a helmet and protective gear! AND, it's probably not a good idea to ride behind someone on a 4-wheeler built for one. I think we've all been there and done something not-so-bright like that and that poor girl had to learn the hard way.
