Random...

We went to Grandma Gerry's on Saturday for an oyster feed. It was great seeing the fam. Tyler and I even snuck out and went to Cabela's. It was a quick one day trip.

Vantage or Bust...

After the WIND storm Friday night (which almost blew us right into the Columbia) we had a great time camping. Saturday we went to Cave B for lunch, played on the toys, played on the toys some more and had ribs for dinner- a favorite amongst the M clan. Sunday was beautiful.

McKinley slept on the table bed. She is getting so big. We brought the crib, but thought we'd try the big bed to see how it worked. We set up a little barrier all around, just in case. She did great. Although, Sunday morning we herd a thud and she had fallen out of bed. Luckily she landed on the cushion. We I rushed over to pick her up, she was sound asleep- didn't even phase her:) That's our girl.

I've been tagged by my friend Tracie. I hope I'm doing this right. The instructions were to go to my 4th folder and post the 4th picture and then tag 4 friends. I was about 3 months pregnant with McKinley in this picture. This was taken Christmas Eve 2006. Obviously, Tyler got a new sleeping bag:)

Lunch today. They both even ate peas! Now that is a first for both! Stinkers don't like veggies.

Pesto Pasta...

I created this recipe a few months ago. I'm not very good at giving directions, so please adjust the receipe to your taste.

Pesto Pasta:
1-2 cooked, cubed chicken breasts
1 10 oz. jar pesto
1/4 cup plus or minus sun dried tomatoes
2-4 garlic cloves, crushed
3-5 TBS olive oil
1/2 cup feta, Parmesan or asiago cheese
3/4-1 package noodles- fettachini or linguine

Cook noodles according to package directions. In a separate bowl combine chicken and remaining ingredients, mix well. Add chicken mixture to cooked (and drained) noodles and gently stir.

M & M...

McKinley is completely infatuated with m & m's. Not sure where the choco-o-holic thing came from (Granny?!?) Our friend Joan gave us a bottle full of m & m's for Christmas and McKinley has since learned how to say m & m. Pause the music to get the full effect. It is the cutest little voice ever:)

Last week the Seth family came over for dinner. We got McKinley's old bouncy chair out for Skylee and it hasn't gone back to the closet yet. McKinley loves sitting in it. She doesn't fit very well, but she doesn't seem to care.
