Back to Reality...

I spent the weekend with Jackie and Erin at the flower and garden show. We had a total blast! Of course we shopped, ate, shopped, ate, shopped and slept in! It was wonderful. I found some great deals on clothes for McKinley and a few things for myself too. McKinley stayed home with Tyler and was an angel. They spent a lot of time in the shop (her socks and clothes were greasy!) She continues to crawl EVERYWHERE and even bear crawls on the across the tile. She is pulling herself up onto EVERYTHING also!! She continues to be such a great blessing to us. And great entertainment as well. I don't have any new pictures to share, so I am posting a blast from the past! :) This picture was taken at last years flower and garden show. I was about 5 months prego. EEEK! Stacy was around 3 months prego. EEEK again! :)

Tyler had to rush to a sub-station fire this morning. A regulator had exploded and caused a ton of damage. Luckily no one was injured and they were able to take care of situation in a relatively short period of time. Pfew! Dad was at the fire too. I am so proud of them.

Happy birthday to Granny yesterday and Auntie Mel today!

Three's Company...

Koleman and Hudson came over for the day today. The kids were great! We made the trek down the driveway in the wagon. I thought Hudson was going to fall asleep on his brother, while McKinley kept trying to jump out. She is nuts. :)

We ended our fun day by going out to dinner with Koleman, Hudson and their parents:) Hudson and McKinley oinked their dinners down. They wanted everything in sight. She was in bed a little early tonight after the big day o' fun.

The most wonderful bread EVER. I already posted the link this week. You must try it! Today I roasted garlic and put the whole cloves in the bread. It turned out amazing and went well with our deer stew.

Big Girl...

I have never been one to love it when kids have their own bottles hanging out of their mouths...but, this is too cute. McKinley loves to hold her own bottle now. She used to just play with it when she would hold it. Oh, how the time fly's by!

Dirty window, cute picture...

She has discovered how to make fingerprints:)

We had a great weekend! Saturday night we went to Jake & Mel's for dinner. Their friends Travis & Emily were there with their two kids (4 & 13 mon) We had a wonderful dinner and enjoyed watching all the kids play. It was so fun. Oh and I made the best bread EVER! And it was soooo easy. Here is the link...http://www.motherearthnews.com/Real-Food/2007-12-01/Easy-No-Knead-Dutch-Oven-Crusty-Bread.aspx

We spent the afternoon playing in the dirt and sun. We met a bunch of our friends and their families at the ORV park east of the river. McKinley was so fun. She LOVED the sand/dirt and loved being outside all day. She even took a nap in the playpen while everyone rode bikes/4-wheelers around us. I couldn't believe it. It was a perfect afternoon!
