McKinley is Ms. independent lately. She loves to feed herself. And lately, she dips everything into either applesauce or ketchup. Doesn't matter what it is...it gets dipped. This picture was taken this morning as she was eating Cream of Wheat. On Cream of Wheat mornings she heads straight to the tub after breakfast. And this morning, the nasty little creature pooped in the tub! If that wasn't bad enough she tried to play with it! It was the rudest thing ever!! I don't get very gaggy often, but this morning tested my reflexes!!
Aunt Mimi came for a quick visit this morning. She and Gary were in town for the weekend. When they arrived, McKinley ran up to Mimi thinking she was Granny P. It was pretty funny when she realized that she wasn't her Granny. Mimi and Maddi gave her a wonderful peek-a-boo book. Tyler worked almost 35 hours this weekend. They worked all day on Saturday, came home at 8, had dinner, went to bed, got called back to work at 11 for a MAJOR outage, and didn't get home until 4 this afternoon. He is exhausted and is having some much needed couch time as I write. PSE's line near the wind farm/river sent 223,000 volts down the PUD line at 7,200 volts therefore, creating a huge mess. Of course that is my version of the story, Tyler tells it much better with all the correct terminology...He said there were blown regulators, transformers and poles caught fire.
Nana came over this morning and kidnapped McKinley for the afternoon. Sounds like they had fun:) I sure enjoyed the break and got some work done.

Wow, that is quite a story! Interestingly enough, Bobby and I saw PUD trucks working this weekend and we thought to ourselves...those guys are getting some OT, good for them! Little did we know, what was really going down! We hope Tyler catches up on his sleep:)
